Terms of Service

Welcome to Ottawa Racquet Sports Association (ORSA)! Please review our Terms of Service carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By joining any ORSA affiliated programs and using our facilities, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our facilities or services.

2. Membership

Membership to any ORSA affiliated programs is open to individuals who meet the club's eligibility criteria. Members must pay the applicable membership fees and agree to follow all club rules and regulations.

3. Code of Conduct

All members are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner. The following behaviors are prohibited:

  • Disruptive or inappropriate behavior on or off the court.
  • Harassment or discrimination against other members or staff.
  • Destruction or vandalism of club property.
  • Failure to comply with safety protocols and instructions from staff.

4. Facility Use

Members are responsible for booking court time in advance and adhering to scheduled times. Members must:

  • Keep the facilities clean and tidy.
  • Respect the equipment and return it to its proper place.
  • Notify club staff of any issues or maintenance needs.

5. Membership Termination

Any ORSA affiliated programs reserve the right to terminate or suspend membership if a member is found to be in violation of these Terms of Service or engages in behavior deemed detrimental to the club. No refunds will be provided for terminated memberships.

6. Liability

Members participate in all activities at their own risk. Any ORSA affiliated programs will not be liable for any injuries or damages incurred while using the club's facilities or participating in club activities.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the club's facilities will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Vaccination Requirement

All of our members are expected to be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 and all other mandatory vaccinations. The organization reserves the right to ask for proof of vaccination

9. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Each Guarantor hereby irrevocably attorns to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
